Skitzo Neighbor

This is going to be one wild first entry...

It was a nice, relatively warm April afternoon. There was some local buzz around the ground floor of the apartment building located at somewhat scenic 196 North River Road: we were to have a new neighbor.

Nobody expected who was about to move in to the recently vacated apartment across my home. If we knew, we all wished we were a bit more prepared.

A 40-something-year-old mental health patient and alcoholic (whose name I shall remain anonymous) made her presence known. Her two-and-a-half-month stay must be the most documented of all the previous neighbors. I shall tell you of the "Skitzo Neighbor," one batshit crazy story at a time.

I'm gonna start off with my favorite story. We had a maintenance worker we all liked to call "Mr. Matos." It seemed like a suitable name, for we knew he was a male and his last name was Matos. Anyways, Mr. Matos got called in by her to "repair something."  He postponed a project to get to her place, for it sounded rather urgent. She answered the door, dressed in a nightgown, with candles lit up. Matos, puzzled, asked what she needed help with. The neighbor replied that she wanted his baby.  O_O

Her quirky randomness was well known, as she would be spotted in the parking lot, sunbathing in an empty parking space. My friends have seen her before doing such as they were picking me up.

Coming home one night, her door was open. There was some random fat dude who was roaming around, calling her name in the hallway while wearing nothing but underpants. I took a peek and saw her in the apartment, on her knees. I can only assume what went on, but rest assured, it was disturbing.

She also had a tendency of attracting the police due to noise violation and emergency phone calls. Her random breakouts of anger scared off bypassing neighbors. She walked around nude and menstruated on another neighbor's furniture. Her frequent door slamming, yelling, and obnoxiously loud country music made one neighbor move out.

How's that for a first entry?
